Invest your time at Access to Finance workshops

VENTURE capitalists from one of the region’s investment firms will be leading a series of workshops to help innovative businesses in the North-east become attractive to investors.

The Access to Finance workshops, which are being held at NETPark (the North East Technology Park) in Sedgefield, are aimed at new and early stage companies which want to improve their business prospects and find out how to become investor-ready.

The free workshops, which are being led by experts from Finance Tree in Newcastle, will look at the processes involved with investment finance, such as writing an effective business plan; the sources of finance available like equity, loans, and grants; how investment deals are structured and how best to pitch for funding.

The workshops will tackle different investment themes on each day and include Deal Structuring and Valuations on March 1 and Finalising and Presenting the Business Plan on March 22
